PULITZER ARTS FOUNDATION: RaumlaborBerlin
pulitzer arts foundation: Raumlabor
The Pulitzer came to us to look for ways to create video content that felt a little different than your typical museum. Which is made a lot easier by the fact that The Pulitzer isn’t your typical museum.
Case in point, our first exhibit we worked on together was for “Raumlabor Berlin”. A German architectural / civic planning / artistic collective who the Pulitzer invited to Saint Louis to create an installation that was about Saint Louis, but from an outside view.
The exhibit was a true collaboration between artist, community, government, and institution. Raumlabor dismantled a condemned home and rebuilt a version of it within the gallery. There was a lot of planning and community organization that was involved in this. It spanned many months and required a lot of shooting to capture the pure scale and process of the project.
